And here comes another delay for Aliens: Colonial Marines. Although the game was slated for an Autumn 2012 release, Gearbox has just revealed that the game will actually hit stores in February 2013. According to Gearbox’s head, Randy Pitchford, this is the definitive launch date for Aliens: Colonial Marines. In order to celebrate it, SEGA has also released a new trailer that can be viewev below. SEGA has released the launch trailer of Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode II, which is now available on digital stores. This new entry in the Sonic 4 storyline has the iconic blue hedgehog taking on two legendary rivals with the help of one of his oldest friends, Miles “Tails” Prower. It’s been a while since our last look at SEGA’s MMORPG, Phantasy Star Online 2. Today, Guru3D’s member ‘ezodagrom’ has decided to share some new gameplay footage from the closed beta phase of Phantasy Star Online 2 that can be viewed below. Phantasy Star Online 2 will be free-to-play and an item transaction system will be how it’ll make money. Modder ‘DARTH__VADER’ has released a new version of his DarthMod mod for Creative Assembly’s strategy game, Total War: Shogun 2. DarthMod 4.0 comes with bayonets support. Bayonets are finally available thanks to the mod of IGdood and kungfuserge and DarthMod has used this mod’s technique to enable Bayonets and balanced the stats accordingly. A while ago, we informed you about some classic Mega-Drive games that appeared on Steam’s registry. As we predicted back then, those games were likely to be part of a new Classic Genesis Pack and it appears we were right, as SEGA has released the fifth part of their Genesis Classics Pack. SEGA announced today the launch of the Dragon War Battle Pack, a complete suite of historical battles for the award-winning PC strategy title Total War: Shogun 2. The Dragon War Battle Pack consists of six consecutively-played legendary battles from the Boshin War, depicting the campaign of the Imperial general Saigo Takamori. Previously available only with the Total War: Shogun 2 – Fall of The Samurai expansion, they can now be accessed in the original Total War: Shogun 2. A couple of hours ago, SEGA released the official announcement trailer of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. At the end of the trailer, there was no PC icon indication so most publications thought that the game would not hit PC. However, SEGA has officially announced that Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed will hit PC in late 2012. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is a thrilling new racing experience featuring Sonic the Hedgehog and a fantastic cast of SEGA All-Stars competing across land, air and water in vehicles that fully transform from cars, to planes to boats. Binary Domain was well received on consoles, and we were delighted to hear that this squad-based shooter would be coming to our beloved platform. And to be honest, we were expecting more than a shoddy port. Sure, we didn’t expect to see higher-resolution textures or extra PC features but this is a really bad and poor port. Steam’s registry revealed some interesting classic Mega-Drive hits that will be coming to the PC. According to the registry, Streets of Rage 3, Phantasy Star series, Vectorman 2, Golden Axe 3, The Revenge of the Shinobi and Wonder Boy in Monster World will be released in the coming weeks or months. Our guess is that these games are part of the new Mega-Drive Classic Pack that will be unveiled at a later date.
