Now this is a nice surprise. Croteam has released new patches for Serious Sam 3 and Serious Sam HD: TSE. Not that many of you are still playing those old-school game, however it’s great witnessing a developer supporting its titles even after months (and years) from its initial release. In addition, Nixxes Software has released a new update for the PC version of Tomb Raider. Unfortunately, no; there isn’t any fix for the game’s bugged areas and the team does not yet have a resolution for the players that are experiencing crashes and major graphical corruption on Nvidia’s hardware. Coreplay and Croteam have released new updates for Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter and Jagged Alliance: Back in Action. In preparation of the upcoming DLC, Croteam had added a FOV slider to graphics options menu and made various improvements and corrections to Serious Sam HD: TSE. Coreplay on the other hand added DLC support (DLC can be accessed via main menu) and fixed various issues to Jagged Alliance: Back in Action. As we informed you a couple of days ago, Croteam and Devolver would announce this week their DLC plans for Serious Sam HD. And we are happy to inform you today that the first DLC pack for Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter will be called Legend of the Beast. Legend of the Beast DLC will hit the Internet on May 15th in which Sam will track down the mysterious ram-god of The Great Obelisk in an all-new chapter of the legendary series. Back in April, Croteam and Devolver played a little joke to all Serious Sam 3 fans as they announced their – supposedly fake – plans for Serious Sam 3’s DLC. A lot of SS3 fans got disappointed when they found out that it was an April Fool’s joke. Well, it seems that Croteam and Devolver had something going on and wanted to simple tease back then, as the publisher has revealed that we’ll be getting some DLC news this week for both Serious Sam HD and Serious Sam 3. Okay, now this is a great surprise. Croteam has just rolled out a new update for the HD remake of Serious Sam’s second encounter. Not only that, but the changelog is quite big with lots of fixes and additions. You’d expect Croteam to be focused on the latest adventures of Serious Sam but no, the Croatian team is still supporting this old title.
