Project CARS – Four New Locations Revealed
Following yesterday’s delay announcement, Slightly Mad Studios and Bandai Namco unveiled today four new tracks coming to Project CARS. These new tracks are: Sonoma Raceway, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Brno and Willow Springs International Motorsports Park. Project CARS vs F1 2014 – Rain Weather Comparison Video
YouTube’s ‘ADRIANF1esp’ has shared a new video with us, comparing the rain weather effects of Project CARS and F1 2014. This video shows a lap at Hockenheim GP with the Formula A in Project CARS (Williams Martini skin) and the 2014’s Williams FW36 in F1 2014. Project CARS is planned for an April release, and we hope that Slightly Mad Studios will further enhance the game’s rain effects (as they are not as ‘hot’ as those found in both F1 2014 and Driveclub). Bandai Namco has released a new official trailer for Slightly Mad Studios’ Project CARS. Project CARS will be coming to PC on March 17th, and the publisher has also listed the game’s key features. According to them, Project CARS will pack the largest track roster of any recent racing game, a fully dynamic weather and TOD system, support for over 40 different wheels and peripherals, and support for both 12K resolutions and Oculus Rift. Project CARS vs Real Life – Night Comparison – Formula Gulf 1000 at Dubai
YouTube’s “ADRIANF1esp” has shared with us a new night comparison video between a real race and Project CARS. This time, ADRIANF1esp showcased a Formula Gulf 1000 at Dubai. Contrary to the previous comparisons, this one shows the big gap between reality and the latest racing games. As we can see, Project CARS’ Global Illumination effects, reflections, and its whole lighting system is still not close enough to the real deal (no matter how impressive it currently looks like).
