Slightly Mad Studios has released a new set of screenshots for its upcoming racer, Project CARS. Contrary to our previous galleries, this time around we decided to keep the images in their original resolution, giving you the ability to further drool all over your monitor while viewing them. As the team noted, these images show purely in-game footage that has not been made in any special photo mode, using no post-processing or filters that aren’t available during the actual gameplay. Project CARS will officially support DX11 and Nvidia’s PhysX + Turbulence
During Nvidia’s Montreal event – which is underway as we speak – the green team announced that Project CARS will support DX11 (okay, we already knew that), as well as Nvidia’s PhysX particles and Turbulence effects. Although the green team did not reveal any additional details about it, it was well known that Slightly Mad Studios was looking for ways to further enhance its racer’s tech. Project CARS Keeps Impressing Us With Its Visuals – New Community Screenshots
Ah, the beauty of Project CARS. It’s not stretch to say that Slightly Mad Studios’ racer looks more impressive than all the upcoming next-gen racing games, meaning that it sports visuals better than those of Forza 5. Truth be told, Slightly Mad Studios will have more time to tweak, adjust and enhance its title as it’s planned for a mid 2014 release, but even in its current alpha state, this racer looks awesome. New Project CARS Video Shows Off Next-Gen Water Effects, Rivaling Those Of CryENGINE’s Tech Demo
A while back, Crytek released a tech demo trailer for CRYENGINE, showcasing the features that are being supported in its latest build. There is no denying that the most ‘wow-ish’ feature that Crytek shown in its tech demo was the procedural GPGPU weather effects. Well, YouTube’s member ‘Darren White’ posted a new video for Slightly Mad Studios’ racing game, Project CARS, showcasing similar water effects. New Splendid Project CARS Screenshots Released
Slightly Mad Studios has released a new set of screenshots for its upcoming racer, Project CARS. As usual, all shots show purely in-game footage that has not been made in any special photo mode, using no post-processing or filters that aren’t available during the actual gameplay (though some users have used third party injector tools such as SweetFX). Project CARS Showcased Running At 4K, GeForce Titan Able To Push 60+ FPS At 3840×2160
During the IFA exhibition in Berlin, Slightly Mad Studios showcased Project CARS running at 4K on Panasonic’s 4K Ultra HD televisions. Slightly Mad Studios used an Nvidia Titan card which was able to push a smooth 60+ fps gaming experience at 3840×2160. Project CARS looks amazing, though we hope that Slightly Mad Studios will enhance the game’s environments before releasing it.
