Slightly Mad Studios has released a new set of screenshots for its upcoming racer, Project CARS. Project CARS looks fabulous, and we are really looking forward to its final build. The development team has been improving this title with every new build, and we really hope that its environmental detail will get overhauled before release. Slightly Mad Studios’ Ian Bell Wants Project CARS To Focus On Next-Gen Platforms

Over at the official forums of Project CARS (that are no accessible to those who have not contributed to it), a new poll went live in which the company wanted to find out whether it should shift development over the next-gen platforms or not. If that happens, PC gamers can expect a DX11-only title and the platforms in which Project CARS is gonna be available will be PC, XBOne, PS4 and WiiU. Project CARS – Prototype Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 Showcased, Community Multiplayer Trailer

Slightly Mad Studios has signed a deal with Mercedes, and has released some screenshots showcasing a prototype model of the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3. Moreover, an Oculus Rift Dev Kit has arrived at Slightly Mad Studios’ office, meaning that Project CARS will most probably support it when it finally releases. We are pretty sure that most racing fans will be disappointed with the following news. Slightly Mad Studios revealed – a couple of months ago – that Project CARS was planned for a 2014 release. Even though Slightly Mad Studios had not revealed any possible date, most players expected this title to come out in early 2014.
