2013 will definitely be the year of Project CARS. Even though Slightly Mad Studios’ racer is not – at the current state – as hardcore as rFactor 2 and Assetto Corsa, it looks miles better than those two afforementioned titles. Slightly Mad Studios seems to aim for a mix between arcade and sim – instead of a pure simulation experience. This may put off some purists but still, the game promises to be better than Shift 2 or all other previous attempts. Project CARS is planned for a late 2013 release on PC, WiiU, PS3 and X360. And even though we don’t know how it will look on consoles, we already know that it looks spectacular on the PC. Enjoy! Bad news for PC racing fans who have been anxiously waiting for the PC version of Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends, as the game’s publisher BigBen has confirmed the cancellation of this specific version. Not only that, but after countless delays, the encyclopedia section of GamePressure.com states that the PC version of this game has been cancelled, even though Atari was planning to release the game on November 30th. Project CARS fans, we’ve got some good and some bad news for you today. The good news is that Project CARS has reached its funding goal of of 3.75 million euro. This obviously means that the game will get funded and is planned for release in 2013. In addition, all existing members will continue to receive the perks and benefits of their chosen tool packs as the title continues to be developed.
