NVIDIA has released a new video, showcasing Slightly Mad Studios’ Project CARS 2 running in 4K on Ultra settings. This video was captured on a single NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080 (not the newly announced GTX1080Ti). From the looks of it, this new racing game will be better optimized than its predecessor as NVIDIA’s GPU was able to run it in 4K with 60fps. Enjoy! New Project CARS 2 screenshots surface
The unofficial FB fan page for Project CARS 2 has shared eleven new screenshots for Slightly Mad Studios’ upcoming racer. Project CARS 2 will feature an expanded roster of over 170 cars and 60+ tracks, brand-new fan-requested Online Championships game mode, and additional racing disciplines – including ice, dirt, snow, and mud racing.. This video showcases the game’s current visuals, its audio enhancements, as well as its dynamic weather system. Project CARS suffered from some optimization issues when it was released in 2015. And while Slightly Mad Studios has offered some performance improvements via patches, it still did not perform ideally on the PC, especially on AMD’s GPUs. Thankfully, and according to Ian Bell, head of Slightly Mad Studios, its successor, Project CARS 2, will be better optimized on the PC platform.
