Project CARS – Patch 2.0 Changelog Unveiled – Improves Performance, Tweaks AI & Controls

Slightly Mad Studios has revealed the release notes for Project CARS’ upcoming patch. According to the team, this new patch will bring up to 5% frame rate improvement when using Ultra settings, as well as various AI and control tweaks/adjustments. Project CARS 2 Officially Announced, Will Be Crowd-Funded Like Its Predecessor

Slightly Mad Studios has just announced the sequel to its latest racing game, Project CARS 2. Project CARS 2 will be crowd-funded via WMD like its predecessor, and promises to be bigger and better. The game will feature the largest track roster with 50 unique locations and 200+ courses, dynamic time of day and weather, over 40 different vehicle classes and co-op carreer. Project CARS – New Rain Effects Come Close To Those Of Driveclub

Driveclub has undeniable some of the best rain effects we’ve ever seen in a racing game. And while Project CARS looks amazing, its rain effects did not come close to those found in its big console rival. But that may change as Slightly Mad Studios is working on improving Project CARS’ rain effects. YouTube’s member ‘Darren White’ has released a video from a new version of Project CARS – that is not live yet – showing the improved rain effects. Project CARS – Patch 1.4 Changelog Revealed, Will Improve Force Feedback Strength & Steering Feeling

Slightly Mad Studios has revealed the changelog for Project CARS; upcoming patch. This patch will improve force feedback strength, and will bring enhancements to the steering feeling. Project CARS Dev Clarifies On 30-40% Performance Boost – Only For DX12 On PC

A couple of days ago, Ian Bell – Slightly Mad Studios’ boss – claimed that DX12 would bring a 30-40% performance boost in Project CARS. Ian Bell wrote this on an Xbox One thread, suggesting that this boost was for Microsoft’s current-gen console. Well, it appears this is not the case as Ian Bell clarified the performance boost PC and console players can expect from this new API. There has been a lot of controversy surrounding the performance of Project CARS on AMD’s graphics cards. And this whole thing forced Slightly Mad Studios to issue an official statement about it.
