Slightly Mad Studios’ Boss: “NVIDIA have not paid us a penny”, AMD Working To Fix Performance Issues

Project CARS has just been released, and a lot of AMD owners have reported performance issues, even when using red team’s high-end GPUs. Naturally, some may have thought that this is may be caused by NVIDIA, however Ian Bell, head of Slightly Mad Studios, claimed that NVIDIA has not paid Slightly Mad Studios a penny in order to intentionally cripple the game’s performance on AMD’s graphics cards. Project CARS Gets Launch Trailer

Bandai Namco and Slightly Mad Studios have released the launch trailer for Project CARS. Project CARS releases on May 7th and will feature the largest track roster of any recent racing game with 110+ unique locations, a wide variety of motorsports including GT, Touring, Le Mans Prototypes, Karts, and modern Open Wheel and 80+ cars available at launch, dynamic weather, pit stops, and pit strategy creation, as well as dynamic time of day and endurance races (including the Le Mans 24H). New Project CARS versus Real Life Comparison Video, Game Has Gone Gold

Slightly Mad Studios’ Andy Tudor has announced that Project CARS has gone gold. Andy shared this hex number on Twitter ‘ffd700’ which is no other than the hex value for gold in RGB color space. In addition, YouTube’s ‘ADRIANF1esp’ has shared with us a new video comparison between Project CARS and real life that can be viewed below.
