After countless delays, City Interactive has revealed the – new – release date of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. The game is currently planned for a March 12th release on PC, X360 and PS3. Powered by Crytek’s CryEngine 3, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 promises to be better in every area than its predecessor. City Interactive has released a new trailer for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. According to the team, everything we see is in real-time. Well, even though the game looks good (seems that City Interactive has also used a sharpening filter), it doesn’t look THAT good to advertise it at the beginning of the trailer. It’s really funny, but Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 was meant to hit streets before Sniper Elite V2. City Interactive, though, decided to delay its sniper title, and presented today a new gamepaly teaser for it. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 feels like a mix between Call of Duty and Sniper Elite V2. It seems heavily scripted and – as the title suggests – players will rely on their sniper rifle. Unfortunately, the bullet balistics seem as basic as they can get, and we’re pretty sure that most players will be disappointed with them. That’s hilarious. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 has seen a number of delays and although City Interactive had zeroed in an August 21, 2012 launch date for its release, it seems that the game will get slightly delayed once again. According to Eurogamer, City Interactive’s FPS title is now scheduled for an October 9th release on current generation consoles and PC. City Interactive has released the pre-E3 trailer for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. City Interactive has revealed – via a GameStop’s newsletter – that Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 will get a Limited and a Collector’s Edition. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 Collector’s Edition will come with the game, a Folded Box, Artbook, Snipers Manual, the game’s soundtrack, Bonus Sniper Riffle for Multiplayer, 3 Exclusive Playable Multiplayer Characters, and Bonus Bullet Collection (Running Wont ´t Help – Got You Sucka – Next Stop Your Head – Sniper 2). The Limited Edition, on the other hand, will feature the game, the manual, special Q-Card, and some premium content. City Interactive released today a new set of screenshots for their upcoming CryEngine 3 powered sniper gamer, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. These new images showcase some of the environments, as well as the dismemberment system that will be featured.
