And this is why we can’t have nice things. Interplay has sent a C&D letter to the team developing fan remake of Descent. As you may have guessed, Interplay basically tried to pull the plug on this game’s development, however the team was well prepared for something like that. And as a result of that, Sol Contingency will be refaced, all Descent content will be removed, and the game will be slightly delayed. The good news here is that the team does not intend to cancel it, which is obviously good news to all 6DoF and first-person shooter fans. It’s been a while since our last look on Sol: Contingency, don’t you agree? Well, the team behind this upcoming remake of Descent in Unreal Engine has released a new video, showing off some multiplayer action from an early access demo during a closed test. Sol Contingency – Descent remake in UDK – gets a new gameplay trailer
Back in April 2013, we informed you about a fan-made remake of Descent. Well, today we’ve got a new gameplay trailer to share with you. Maximilian Schulz, Sol Contingency’s team lead, has informed us about this new trailer, featuring gameplay footage from its first internal multiplayer test.
