Yes, Killzone is not a PC title but we can’t help but be amazed with what fans have managed to achieve. According to its description, Killzone Intercept occurs during the events of Killzone 3 as the ISA evacuate Helghan. A small scout squad is called upon to stall a large group of approaching Helghasts that plan to cut off the ISA convoy from reaching the extraction point. Great news for PS2 (not to be confused with PlanetSide 2) fans as the best emulator for Sony’s console has hit a milestone. PCSX2 has released its first publich version, 1.0. According to the team behind it, PCSX2 runs a great majority of the games, and there are no important issues that could possibly be fixed without requiring major modifications to the emulator. As the blu-ray version of Battle: Los Angeles featured a half-hour single-player demo of Resistance 3, we bought it and played it to get a taste of what Insomniac had to offer this time around. Sony released 21 screenshots of the ICO and Shadow of Colossus Collection. As we have suspected, these remastered version are basically almost the same with the ones of PS2. The main difference is that they support 3D stereoscopic and they run at 1080p. However, we’d expect to see new and more detailed textures. Sadly though, it seems that the team didn’t bother at all to replace the original textures. The simply passed the original textures through some sharpen filters.
