Ubisoft has revealed – via Splinter Cell’s official FB page – a new screenshot for Splinter Cell: Blacklist, showcasing a darker indoor envrionment which means that the game will feature levels similar to those of the older Splinter Cell titles. Well, we all knew that the latest Splinter Cell game was not a stealth game. The E3 demo proved what most of us feared. Ubisoft attempted to streamline the experience and introduce a lot of action sequences in order to attract more gamers to it. Naturally, the French company tried to convince everyone that this was still the Splinter Cell game they knew and fell in love with. However, the company revealed at the Eurogamer Expo event that the franchise is no longer centered around its stealth roots. Ubisoft has also released a new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist. According to its press release, a group of 12 have had enough and initiate a terror ultimatum called the Blacklist – a deadly countdown of escalating terrorist attacks on U.S. interests. Sam Fisher is the leader of the newly formed 4th Echelon unit: a clandestine unit that answers solely to the President of the United States. Sam and his team must hunt down these terrorists by any means necessary, and stop the Blacklist countdown before it reaches zero. Splinter Cell fans, the moment you’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived. Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist that focuses on the stealth gameplay that will be featured in this Splinter Cell game. The level that is showcased here is the same with the one that was demonstrated in this year’s E3 and shows a completely new way to complete it. Now we know, the AI seems a bit off, but then again that’s how things were in previous Splinter Cell games. Yes, the dog should have noticed Sam when he jumped over the wall and yes, the enemies have no peripheral vision. Ubisoft has released a new, extended walkthrough of Splinter Cell: Blacklist and the level that was demonstrated was the same one that appeared in this year’s E3. This walkthrough is centered around the action path of Splinter Cell: Blacklist and although Ubisoft stated that there will be a stealth approach in almost every mission, most Splinter Cell fans will be furious with what the company has done to their amazing franchise. Ubisoft has released a new screenshot for Splinter Cell: Blacklist which showcases Sam’s ability to drag enemy bodies. Yes yes, players will be able to drag bodies in the latest iteration of Splinter Cell. In Blacklist, players will be rewarded by their ability to play stealthily/remain undetected. Ubisoft has re-released the E3 2012 trailer of Splinter Cell: Blacklist. In this new version of Splinter Cell: Blacklist’s E3 2012 trailer, Ubisoft has added a lot new information about their upcoming third person action/stealth shooter. Sam will be able to take out enemies and drag their bodies to hide them. In addition, Sam will have better reflexes than his enemies, meaning that there might be a slow-mo feature (or the return of Mark and Execute that was present in Conviction).
