Our dear friends over at PCGamesHardware revealed that the PC version of the upcoming Thief game will be handled by Nixxes Software. During AMD’s press conference at Computex in Taipei, the red team announced that Thief PC is part of its Gaming Evolved program, and that the port is handled by Nixxes Software. Square Enix has revealed that its three top titles – Tomb Raider, Sleeping Dogs and Hitman: Absolution – have broken even, meaning that even though these titles did not sufficiently contribute to Square Enix’s profits, their development expenses were covered. Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Collector’s Edition are now available for pre-order. In addition, the Japanese company revealed that the game is scheduled for release on August 27th for both PS3 and PC. Tomb Raider Gets A New Patch With Significant Improvements In CPU-limited Areas

Crystal Dynamics has released a new patch for the PC version of Tomb Raider, and according to its changelog, this patch comes with significant performance improvements in CPU limited areas. Now we are not certain about these improvements because we did not notice any at the start of Mountain Village (right after the attack from the wolves). But anyway, some users may notice those improvements, so kudos to Crystal Dynamics for at least releasing it. Despite the fact that Final Fantasy VII PC has been around for ages, Square Enix decided to release – a couple of months ago – a remastered version of it with some game boosters, achievements and proper compatibility for the latest operating systems.
