Following Nvidia’s drooling Dawn Tech Demo, today we present you Square Enix’s latest tech demo called ‘Agni’s Philosophy’. Agni’s Philosophy was created with a new engine from Luminous Studios and shows off some gorgeous real-time graphics that come really close to pre-rendered CG visuals. As the title of the video suggests, this engine will most likely be used for a new Final Fantasy game. Although there are no further details about, we do know that the engine is scaleable and supports a variety of platforms (from PC to tablets). Special thanks to our reader ‘Frank’ for spotting it. Crystal Dynamics showcased Tomb Raider at Microsoft’s E3 2012 Conference and you can watch below some brand new gameplay footage of it. As it’s pretty obvious, this is an Uncharted clone in every possible way. Apart from that though, this new Tomb Raider game comes with good combat mechanics, great physics effects (although at the end of the footage, the environmental physics are all over the place), destructible environments and vertical combat gameplay. Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have revealed the full new “Crossroads” E3 trailer for Tomb Raider and announced that the game will hit the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on March 5, 2013. This new Tomb Raider game is basically a reboot of the series and looks very similar to Uncharted. Don’t know if that’s a good or a bad thing. The game comes with a 10% discount and those who pre-order it will receive three exclusive items (Atomic Accolade, Quadwrangler, and Professor’s Pineapple) in Team Fortress 2. As promised, IO Interactive and Square Enix have released the E3 trailer for their action stealth third person shooter game, Hitman: Absolution. In this trailer we witness Agent 47 treating his wounds in a run-down motel room. Meanwhile, his former employer, the ICA, send a deadly specialized wetworks team after him: “The Saints.” The ICA wants 47 dead, but that’s easier said than done.
