Square Enix has revealed a new F2P title for the PC called Figureheads. Square Enix Confirms Final Fantasy Type-0 Coming To The PC

Square Enix has just confirmed – via Final Fantasy’s Twitter account – that Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will be indeed coming to the PC. Like all other Final Fantasy games, Type-0 HD will be released on Steam. Square Enix did not reveal any addition information about the PC version (other than it will feature new graphical options and improved battle & camera controls). Final Fantasy Type-O Coming To PC, Will Be Demonstrated On MSI’s Laptops At Computex

MSI has issued a press release about its presence at this year’s Computex, and revealed that Final Fantasy Type-0 will be coming to the PC (and will be showcased running on its new laptops). As the press release reads, Square Enix will work with MSI to have a global launch of their latest game Final Fantasy Type-0 at MSI’s COMPUTEX booth. Square Enix on DX12: “It took around three weeks to get the basic rendering working on DirectX 12”

During this year’s Build Developer Conference, Microsoft showcased an amazing tech demo from Square Enix. Afterwards, Microsoft presented an interview in which Square Enix revealed that it took them three weeks to get the basic rendering of their Luminous engine running on DX12. Not only that, but Square Enix claimed that it wasn’t really a difficult task implementing DX12 support.
