As we told you yesterday, Team Meat were planning to announce a new Super Meat Boy. Well, the news came earlier than we have expected as the team announced that they’ll be porting their game to the iOS devices. Team Meat have been playing with the idea of porting SMB on the iphone for some time but could not get it working. Word had it that Team Meat was working on Super Meat Boy 2 and that the game would not be coming to PS3. Well, we have some good fans for PS3 players and some bad news for pretty much everyone else. According to Team Meat, there is no Super Meat Boy 2 and they are not working on it. In addition, Super Meat Boy will eventually come to Sony’s console, although there is no ETA as of yet. Team Meat has just announced that Super Meat Boy has sold over one million copies. Yeap, that lovely indie game proved to be really successful and can be now considered as a platinum game. This is amazing news as Super Meat Boy was one of the best indie platform games of 2010. It took them almost a year to hit that milestone but who really cares.
