Deep Silver has released the first screenshots and a teaser trailer for Techland’s upcoming Dead Island game, Dead Island: Riptide. According to the publisher, Dead Island: Riptide is a spin-off and not a sequel to the first Dead Island game. After escaping in a helicopter to the safety of a military ship, a furious storm hits and the virus suddenly spreads throughout the crew. Techland has revealed its latest project, called Project Hell. Project Hell started as an internal weapon mod for Dead Island, but quickly became something more than that. There is currently a small team inside Techland that is working on it, and a set of screenshots got released a couple of days ago. Project Hell is said to be a first person, hack n slash game, that is currently being developed exclusively for the PC. Great news for zombie fans as Dead Island’s ‘Bloodbath DLC’ has just been released on Steam. The DLC is priced at 9.99 euros and features four 4 deadly and hazardous arenas, endless waves of zombies, supports both SP and co-op MP and leaderboard to challenge your friends. Now I don’t like this whole ‘DLC idea’, but I’m pretty sure that those who want more ‘zombie-ness’ will appreciate it. So go ahead and get it. Techland had done it again. It’s hilarious, but we can’t help laughing with the crashes that were introduced by the latest patch of Dead Island. These are the same crashes that occuered to some gamers with the previous one, so obviously we’d expect it to be fixed. But no, PC gamers will have to show their all-mighty skills and edit a configuration file in order to enjoy the game. Ah, the beauty of PC gaming.
