Katsuhiro Harada has announced that Tekken 7 has sold over 3 million copies worldwide on all platforms, and that the Tekken franchise has sold 47 million copies in total. According to Harada, this was achieved prior to the release of the game’s second year, which explains why Anna and Lei were not included in the following image. Denuvo causes framerate/performance issues in Tekken 7 according to Katsuhiro Harada, fix coming soon
A lot of players have been wondering whether Denuvo actually causes performance issues in games or not. For the most part, it appears that it is not bring any additional performance hit. As we’ve reported, Final Fantasy XV has longer loading times (this pretty much happens in all Denuvo-powered games) but overall performance – excluding its degradation issue that was not caused by Denuvo – remained the same with the pirated, Denuvo-free version. However, that’s not the case with Tekken 7 as it appears that Denuvo actually causes performance issues in the latest version of this fighting game.
