A lot has been said about Epic Games’ decisions to secure and release specific games exclusively on its digital store. Metro Exodus was a game that out of nowhere dropped Steam in favour of Epic’s store and The Division 2 is the second triple-A games that will be coming to it (obviously alongside UPLAY). Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Open Beta announced, begins on March 1st
Ubisoft has announced that the open beta phase for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 will begin on March 1st. This beta will be available to everyone and will allow gamers to experience The Division 2 prior to its release. The open beta will end on March 4th and even though Ubisoft has not stated anything additional yet, we are pretty sure that its build will be identical to the one used for the Private Beta. Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 promises to run faster in DirectX 12 + new screenshots
In an interview with PCGamesHardware, Ubisoft’s Technical Director Calle Lejdfors revealed that Tom Clancy’s The Division, like its predecessor, will support DirectX 12 alongside DirectX 11. Furthermore, and contrary to games like Resident Evil 2 Remake, it is said that the DX12 mode will run better/faster than DX11.
