Great news for Skyrim fans as Bethesda has revealed some news about the 1.4 update that is slated for release later this month. The company plans to first release their updates as “beta” versions through Steam as this is an extra safety check for everyone going forward and should expedite and improve their updating process for PC gamers. In addition, both the Creation Kit and Steam Workshop are nearly ready, as the company do some final testing, and they are on track for a public release near the end of the month. Great news for Skyrim fans as Alexander Blade has released a new version for his wonderful Skyrim mod, SkyBoost. In the R4 version of SkyBoost, Boost is separated to fpu and sse2 versions. Oh, and as always, the mod comes with additional performance boost. Some users claimed that they gained 3-6fps from the previous SkyBoost version, so go ahead and download it. This is just sad. Seeing modders accusing each other and stating that they’ll drag them to the courts is just SAD. Not because there was a disagreement between two teams, but because modders should have high standards and should not cause troubles to the community. GroBroPros released a new, live-action fan made video for Skyrim, showcasing what Bethesda’s game would look like in modern day. As with the game itself, our real-life friends can put buckets on heads and coin purses still get thieved. To be honest, we didn’t expect to find another jaw-dropping ENBSeries mod for Skyrim. Gionight’s custom settings are gorgeous, but here comes modder ‘diiamondx’ with his Realistic Skyrim HD Profile FFXA Injector and ENBSerie v0102. Modder Pluto released yesterday the latest version of his Realistic Lighting Without Post-Processing Mod for Skyrim. According to the modder, this mod makes the lighting more realistic without the use of screen shader injections or other post-processing. This means that there will be no performance decrease at all, and all weather and locations have unique light settings. Although gionight hasn’t released his ENBSeries settings yet, modder Confidence Man went ahead and tweaked the ENBSeries Skyrim Mod to recreate a more realistic look. The end result, as you can see in the following screenshots, is jaw-dropping and quite similar to gionight’s offer.
