Oh boy, I still remember all those poor PC gamers that were blaming and cursing EA and THQ for the leaked PC versions of Battlefield 3 and Saints Row: The Third. The good thing – if you can call it a good thing – was that those pirated versions were not fully playable before their official release. In the land of consoles however, things are a bit different. And we can report at this point that the X360 version of the highly anticipated The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has been leaked to various torrent sites. As with most multi-platform games, there is a lot of concern about the quality of Bethesda’s highly anticipated RPG, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’s PC version. And although we do know that the game will support mods – thus will achieve higher levels of image fidelity due to texture packs and mods, Pete Hines has stated that the vanilla PC version is impressive and great looking. In fact, when Pete was asked by a fan about the PC version, he replied that it will ‘melt your face’ – provided you already have a high-end PC. Enjoy the first 20 minutes of Bethesda’s upcoming RPG, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Skyrim is slated for release on November 11th and promises to be one of the best games of 2011. Oh, and although Bethesda claimed that its game engine is brand new… well, it’s obvious that it is based on the old Gamebryo. Still, let’s hope that it will be better optimized for current-generation CPUs and GPUs. Continue reading The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – First 20 Minutes→

Fan film director Blake Armstrong and his team have put together a short, live-action Skyrim trailer. According to Blake, their budget was quite limited and although this trailer captures cleverly Skyrim’s atmosphere, we kind of hoped that it would feature dragons and an extended footage of the fights. Still, it’s quite good and will help you get ready for Bethesda’s RPG. Enjoy! Continue reading New fan-made Skyrim short film looks cool→
Tom Antos released today a new live-action short film that is based on Bethesda’s Skyrim. This video showcases a dragon’s hunt and although it looks good, it lacks a bit polishing here and there. The sounds are also a bit underwhelming but overall, it’s sweet and shows that there is great potential for an actual live-action mini series. Check it out after the jump.
