Electronic Arts today announced the beginning of an extensive and exclusive creative collaboration between Katy Perry, one of today’s biggest superstars, and The Sims, one of the most popular gaming series of all-time. In collaboration with Perry, the world-renowned The Sims Studio plans to develop multiple games within The Sims franchise featuring special Katy Perry themed in-game content and virtual goods. The relationship kicks off with a special Collector’s Edition for The Sims 3 Showtime, launching in March 2012. Electronic Arts has just announced a new stuff pack for their acclaimed The Sims 3 that will be available this January. The Sims 3 Master Suite Stuff features luxurious master bedroom and bath furnishings and décor, plus romantic intimate wear for Sims to change into. Players will be able to create the ultimate master suite by selecting from dozens of options including a canopied four-poster bed, a contemporary vanity set and a lavish tub. EA released today via Steam a massive new update for their acclaimed casual game, The Sims 3. This update bring a lot of improvements, fixes and additions to Generations and as with all games that are available on Valve’s distribution service, it will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client.
