This Transformers StopMotion Film Is Better Than All Movies & Games Combined

You know what? This fan-made short stop-motion film made me realize that we haven’t gotten – and most probably will never get – a Transformers game that stays true to its original material. While High Moon Studios’ Transformers games were great, our lovely robots were basically a mix of Michael Bay’s vision and the original Transformers. Ironically, this stop-motion film – created by YouTube’s ‘harrisloureiro’ – is the best thing Transformers fans will see this week (or should we say this Summer) and tops every Transforomers movie and video-game ever released. Jagex has released two new videos for Transformers Universe, showcasing Autobot’s Meltdown and Decepticon’s Duststorm. Duststorm is described as a Decepticon with an arsenal optimized to keep even the most ironclad predator at bay while Meltdown is an Autobot who hates war but will never leave a fellow warrior behind. Transformers Universe – BAFTA-winning composer James Hannigan To Score It

BAFTA award winner and five-time Original Music nominee James Hannigan is composing an original music score for Jagex Games Studio’s upcoming Massively Multiplayer Online Game TRANSFORMERS: UNIVERSE. Based on the iconic TRANSFORMERS brand from Hasbro, Inc., TRANSFORMERS UNIVERSE puts players at the heart of battles between Autobots and Decepticons. Hannigan’s original score features rousing themes recorded with full orchestra as well as a hybrid mechanistic soundtrack to reflect the heavy action-driven style of gameplay. Jagex has released a new set of screenshots – and a trailer – for its MMO game that is based on our beloved Transformers, Transformers Universe. Okay admit it, you really wanted to get your hands on the MMO game that will be based on the Transformers universe the moment you heard about it. And who wouldn’t, especially when we are talking about this legendary robot franchise. Although the game is slated for a 2012, PC gamers will actually be able to find out this year its art direction and whether it will be similar to the cartoon series or the Michael Bay movies.
