Good news for Black Ops 2 fans as the Nuketown Zombies map is currently available on both PC and PS3 (on some regions for PS3 users as most of them will have to wait until after the scheduled PSN maintenance ends). Activision and Treyarch have released a preview trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2’s first DLC Map Pack, Revolution. Revolution promises to be one of the most robust and diverse DLC offerings in Call of Duty history, including four all-new Multiplayer maps, a new Zombies map, an exclusive Multiplayer weapon, and a brand new Zombies game mode. A promotional poster has been leaked on Black Ops 2 official forum, suggesting that the first DLC for Black Ops 2 will be released on X360 this January. Naturally, we expect to see this DLC hitting other platforms at a later date. According to the poster, the DLC will be called ‘Revolution Map Pack’ and will come with four multiplayer maps, a new Zombies map and a bonus weapon for PC, X360, PS3 and WiiU. As promised, Treyarch has released a massive update for the PC version of Black Ops 2. This update will be auto-downloaded and – among other things – improves loadtimes with AMD hardware, improves ambient occlusion, fixes reported issues with 16:10 displays, adds SFX to sliders in options menu and increases Friends list limit to 300. Activision announced today that Call of Duty: Black Ops II has crossed the $1 billion mark in worldwide retail sales, according to Chart-Track retail customer sell-through information and internal company estimates. The game achieved this milestone in just 15 days after its launch on 13th November, 2012. Last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 reached $1 billion in retail sales in 16 days. Treyarch has released a new update for the PC version of Black Ops 2 that improves performance – in every campaign – on PC systems with two or four CPU cores, increases FOV to 90 and improves dedicated server matchmaking. This update will be auto-downloaded and you can view its complete changelog below. Unfortunately we’ve uninstalled Treyarch’s title so we can’t see whether those performance improvements are noticeable. Enjoy! Jason Rosete has informed us about a new live action web-series, based on the Zombies mode of Activision’s latest Call of Duty title, Black Ops 2. According to its description, three agents find themselves on a seemingly abandoned island.
