Turtle Rock Studios has just announced that Evolve will turn into a free-to-play title. The team has removed Evolve from Steam and will make it free on PC as a Beta starting on July 7th. Evolve – Free Maps Announced, Coming to PC on April 30th
2K Games and Turtle Rock Studios announced that two free maps will be coming to Evolve. These two maps are: Broken Hill Mine and Broken Hill Foundry. As the publisher noted, these maps will be available in Hunt, Nest, and Rescue game modes – through Skirmish, a Custom match or an Evacuation campaign. Evolve Will Receive NVIDIA GameWorks Treatment via a Future Patch
Now this passed under our radar. NVIDIA has announced that it’s been working closely with Turtle Rock Studios in order to add GameWorks features to Evolve. The green team did not reveal what specific GameWorks will be featured or when they will be added, so here is hoping that this won’t be another ‘ACU Tessellation patch’. Evolve First Week Statistics – 5,989,905 Games Have Been Played Since Launch
2K Games has released an infographic for Turtle Rock Studios’ latest title, Evolve, revealing the game’s statistics for its first week. According to the infographic, there have been 5,989,905 games since launch, and 133,707,700 minutes have been watched on Twitch.
