On December 1st, The Crew’s designer Serkan Hasan claimed that this MMO racing game would not suffer from all the launch issues that plagued both Far Cry 4 and Assassin’s Creed: Unity. And to his credit, Serkan was right; The Crew runs amazingly well on the PC, offers a native 60fps option from the get-go (contrary to its alpha build), packs a variety of graphics options to tweak, and feels like a really polished title. Far Cry 4 – PC Update 1.5 Detailed, Coming Next Week
Ubisoft has announced that the next PC update for Far Cry 4 is coming next week. According to the French company, this update will fix various control and graphic issues, and will add 21:9 aspect ratio support. Rainbow Six Siege – New Trailer Focuses On Input Driven Cover, Lean and Navigation
Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Rainbow Six Siege, in which Community Developer Chase Straight tells us more about the game’s input driven cover, lean, and navigation mechanics. Rainbow Six Siege will not feature a pre-determined covering system (like pretty much all the latest third-person shooters), and won’t force gamers into watching unskippable cut-scenes. In addition, the game will let players lean whenever they want to. Rainbow Six Siege is on the right track, so hopefully Ubisoft will deliver this time around. Enjoy! The Crew – Day-One Patch Detailed
Ubisoft’s The Crew is currently available on all platforms and the French company has released a day-one update for it. According to the changelog, this update fixes matchmaking and sessions problem, and improves the game’s performance and stability. We’ve contacted Ubisoft for a review code, so hopefully we’ll get one sooner than later. Regarding Inquisition, we’ve been in contact with EA for the past two weeks and still have not secured a review code. We’ll give the big publisher one more day until we purchase the game ourselves.
