Far Cry 4 – PC Performance Analysis

Let’s get one thing straight; we don’t enjoy or like bashing Ubisoft. Sure thing, the company has made some decisions that puzzled us, but we’re here to judge their games and not their ‘political’ or ‘financial’ decisions. After all, back in 2012 we declared Far Cry 3 as the most optimized game of that year, and last year Splinter Cell: Blacklist was our second most optimized title. So no; we are not hating or bashing Ubisoft – whenever we do – because it’s the cool thing to do. Continue reading Far Cry 4 – PC Performance Analysis

Assassin’s Creed: Unity – Low Versus Ultra High Comparison Screenshots

Ubisoft has just sent us a review code for Assassin’s Creed: Unity, and below you can enjoy a comparison between the game’s Low and Ultra High settings. As we can see, there is a noticeable difference between these two presets. For comparison purposes, we kept the same AA solution (FXAA). Keep also in mind that we were VRAM limited on Ultra High (which resulted in stuttering issues and a bit lower overall framerate). As always, Ultra High is on the left whereas Low is on the right. Slightly off-topic, but we’d like to let you know that we’ll receive our review codes for Dragon Age: Inquisition and Far Cry 4 this Friday. Enjoy and stay tuned for our PC Performance Analysis!
