Assassin’s Creed: Unity has just been released and NVIDIA revealed that a new update will add GeometryWorks DirectX 11 Advanced Tessellation to its PC version. Assassin’s Creed: Unity has already been unlocked in different regions, and various sets of PC screenshots have been shared online. Now we know that a lot of you are wondering whether the PC version is optimized or not. Unfortunately, Ubisoft has not sent us yet a review code. And while we wanted to avoid sharing images prior to our PC Performance Analysis, we could not help but hit the ‘share’ button the moment we saw the following screenshots. Assassin’s Creed: Unity releases tomorrow and Ubisoft has revealed the day-one patch that will accompany it. This day-one update is now live on PSN and you can view below its changelog. According to reports, this update weights around 900MB. Given its nature, this changelog does not reveal any PC-only fixes. Far Cry 4 – NVIDIA GameWorks Trailer
NVIDIA’s Andrew Burnes has informed us about a new trailer for Far Cry 4 that shows off the GameWorks effects that will be implemented in it. According to the green team, Far Cry 4 will support HBAO+, Percentage-Closer Soft Shadows, TXAA, tessellated crepuscular God rays, as well as NVIDIA’s HairWorks that adds dynamic, realistic fur to many of the animals.
