Nvidia and Ubisoft have released the first PC screenshots of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and let us tell that they look spectacularly amazing. Nvidia’s Andrew – we informed us about these new images – has also written a nice article about the features that will be included in the PC version of Ubisoft’s upcoming title, so make sure to pay a visit to GeForce’s website. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is currently planned for a late November release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Nvidia has released a new video in which the green team detailed the PC features that will be implemented in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will support dynamic global illumination, TXAA, motion blur, 3D foliage, god rays, translucency and screen space reflection, as well as new ocean effects. Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD Releases To The PC On January 14th
Ubisoft announced today that Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD will arrive for the first time as a digital title on PC on January 15th, 2014. As the press release reads, players will be able to take the role of Aveline, the first playable female Assassin in the Assassin’s Creed saga, with whom players must use their skill, instinct and weaponry to hunt down and eliminate enemies as they embark on an unforgettable journey that will take them from the crowded streets of New Orleans to voodoo-haunted swamps and ancient Mayan ruins. Lot’s of new videos popping out today, don’t you think? Following Battlefield 4’s SP story trailer, here is the launch trailer for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. The game releases next month and I still don’t know what to think of this whole ‘pirate’ thing that Ubisoft introduced in this new part of the Assassin’s Creed series. Guess I’ll have to wait until the game comes out and find it first hand whether it was a good or a bad idea to invest on what made ACIII so different from its predecessors (which is no other thing than its naval battles). Ubisoft Talks AC4 Tech – AnvilNext Engine Features, Global Illumination, DX11.2, AMD’s Mantle
A couple of days ago, we had the pleasure to interview Ubisoft’s Luc Poirier, team lead for the rendering team for AC4 at Ubisoft Montreal. Luc shared some interesting tech information about Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and detailed some of the features that have been implemented in the next iteration of the AnvilNext engine.
