Techland has released the first patch for the PC version of Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. According to its changelog, this update patches up heavy stuttering when using certain keyboard and mouse models and fixes some sound issues that were present on 7.1 speaker configurations. In addition, this update offers PC gamers the ability to tweak the game’s FOV to their liking and to disable the black borders (via the video.ini file). Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed IV, showcasing the in-game graphics that this fourth part of its Assassin’s Creed series will sport. In Assassin’s Creed 4, players will take the role of pirate and Assassin Edward Kenway, grandfather of Connor of Assassin’s Creed 3. The game takes place in 1715 in the Caribbean, will feature new locations, and is planned for a November 1st release. Enjoy! Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag which tells the story behind pirates. Black Flag has been in development for nearly two years, and is being spearheaded by the Assassin’s Creed teams in Ubisoft Montreal with support from Ubisoft studios in Annecy, Bucharest, Kiev, Quebec, Singapore and Sofia. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon has a unique style, however we felt that something was off. Therefore, we decided to experiment with SweetFX and we came up with some really interesting results. In order to boost the game’s visuals, we used an extended version of SweetFX 1.4 that adds a new parameter called ‘TV levels’. Some new screenshots have been leaked from Ubisoft’s upcoming open-world game, Watch Dogs. Naturally, these leaked screenshots are – most obviously – downsampled from a really high resolution. That, or we are looking at the typical PR bullshots that accompany most games these days. In Watch Dogs, players enter the dangerous world of Aiden Pearce, a new class of antihero whose ability to hack into any connected system could be his most powerful weapon. CorridorDigital has posted a live action short film, based on the Spies vs Mercs mode of Splinter Cell: Blacklist. And quite frankly, it looks bloody great. Kudos to the team, and we have to confess that we’d love to see another web-series, based on the Splinter Cell franchise.
