Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Far Cry 3, in which the company introduces us to Hoyt, the depraved mastermind behind the insanity and atrocities of the island. This video will let players learn about the twisted “rules” that he lives by and how he exacts punishment on his enemies. Today, Ubisoft and New Regency announced that they are partnering on the forthcoming Assassin’s Creed film. Ubisoft Motion Pictures, the film and television division of Ubisoft, will develop the Assassin’s Creed film in close collaboration with New Regency. The development of a screenplay is beginning immediately and the project is being fast tracked as the creative pieces come together, while allowing Ubisoft to maintain control of key elements of the movie’s creative direction. Hilarious. That’s the word I’m going to use for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier’s latest PC patch. This new patch comes with improve graphics – though the company did not reveal what has been changed or improved – and a fix for the friends list. Ubisoft has released a 13 minutes walkthrough for Far Cry 3 in which Mark Thompson, lead level designer and Jamie Keen, Lead game designer, takes us on a trip into the game’s environments. In terms of visuals, this level looks really close to those that were featured in the first Far Cry game. Which is good for all fans of this series.
