Alongside Assassin’s Creed: Revelations’ new, Mediterranean DLC, Ubisoft has released the 1.02 patch for the PC version of the game. This patch was released yesterday for the retail version and is available from here. Steam users had to wait a little bit longer but thankfully, this new update is now available for them too. Naturally, Steam will download along with its DLC, meaning that you will see a 3GB download of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations the next time you start the Steam client. Ghost Recon Online is developed by Ubisoft Singapore, and offers all the best qualities of the Ghost Recon franchise in a downloadable, dynamic, PC-based online game. Just WOW. I’ve been following this mess with Anno 2070, but… you know… I thought that Ubi would sort it out. Shockingly, the company have given the ‘finger’ to Guru3D and pretty much every gaming site that wants to benchmark their title, stating that Anno 2070 is restricted to only 3 hardware changes and that there is no way to bypass this feature. Today, Ubisoft announced that The Settlers Online, a browser based free-to-play strategy game set in the Settlers Universe, has reached more than 1.5 million players in its initial rollout in Germany, US, France and Russia. Great news for Ghost Recon fans as Ubisoft has just confirmed that Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be coming to our beloved platform. As expected, the PC version will be released at a later date. Ubisoft has previously stated that Future Soldier wouldn’t be coming to the PC, so there are definitely some pretty good news. The console version on the other hand will be released on May 25, 2012. Ubisoft released a new video in an attempt to explain why Nadeo’s PC exclusive racer is “powered by players”. TrackMania 2: Canyon looks amazing and sports some of the best visuals in a racing game. BlueByte and Ubisoft released today a new update for their strategy game, Anno 2070, that comes with improved stability and performance for several system specs, fixes some of the game’s broken Achievements, increases the Unit limit, improves the AI behaviour, and fixes performance issues related to toll items. Today, Ubisoft announced the debut of The Ancestors Character Pack, an all-new downloadable content for Assassin’s Creed Revelations for Xbox 360 and for PCs. This pack will be available on the PlayStation Network for PlayStation3 from tomorrow, December 14th. The Ancestors Character Pack is available for the suggested downloadable price of 320 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE and £3.19 for PCs and on PlayStation Network.
