Far Cry 6 Title Update 2 is 54GB in size on PC, full patch notes [UPDATE: Size is 22GB]

Ubisoft has revealed the full patch notes for Far Cry 6‘s Title Update 2. This patch is 54GB in size on PC, and although it’s now available on consoles, there is no ETA on when it will come out on PC. Moreover, Ubisoft has not confirmed whether it has fixed the game’s VRAM, stuttering or single-thread CPU issues. Ubisoft blames Skype, MSI Afterburner, Discord and more for possibly causing performance issues in its games

We all know that Ubisoft is a company that is well known for its unoptimized PC games. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla had performance issues, the latest Far Cry games have been mainly relying on one CPU core/thread, most of its games use VMProtect and Denuvo which bring an additional CPU/memory overhead, and the list goes on. And, funnily enough, Ubisoft states that some of the most popular third-party programs may be causing performance or crashing issues. Far Cry 6 Review: A Very Familiar Power-Fantasy

Far Cry 6 is power-fantasy first-person shooting at its finest. A gorgeous, huge tropical island is given to you, with carefully crafted locations, missions, and secrets to find and dominate. Urging you forward are the typical Far Cry cast of earnest and zany characters, providing motivation for your mad quest of vengeance upon a flamboyant villain. In short, not much has changed since Far Cry 3 reinvented the series in 2012.
