For Honor will finally receive dedicated servers
Ubisoft announced today the For Honor development schedule which details a steady rollout of new content releases and improvements to the overall game experience for the rest of the calendar year and leading into 2018. The schedule is headlined by two seasons launching in 2017, alongside plans to introduce dedicated servers further down the road. In addition to major releases, For Honor will continue to evolve through regular gameplay updates which take into account community feedback. Ubisoft announced today an upcoming beta test for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands’ player-versus-player (PvP) mode, Ghost War. The open beta for Ghost War will be available on all platforms later in the summer, and the full mode will release as a free update to all Ghost Recon Wildlands owners in the fall. Might & Magic Showdown has been removed from Steam, servers to be shut down on July 31st
Back in January, Ubisoft released Might & Magic Showdown. And in just six months, the French company decided to cancel it and has already removed it from Steam. Now that is a huge flop. And to be honest, we aren’t really surprised by such a thing as this new Might & Magic game felt like a really niche title (and the Might & Magic series is already a niche genre so… yeah… it was to be expected).
