Capcom has announced that Ultra Street Fighter IV will hit the PC this August, while the console version will get released in June (in order to give players the opportunity to prepare themselves for EVO 2014). Capcom has announced that its latest version of Street Fighter IV, Ultra Street Fighter IV, will hit arcades in Japan in April 2014, with the digital download versions for North American and European consoles coming soon after. Capcom’s Digital Media Specialist, Haunts, has revealed some interesting details about the PC version of Ultra Street Fighter IV. According to Haunts, Ultra Street Fighter IV will be dropping GFWL for Steamworks. This, of course, did not shock us as Capcom has been using Steamworks in almost all its latest PC titles. And we are glad for that. After all, one of the worst things of both SSF4: AE and SF4 was GFWL (for a lot of reasons). As promised, Capcom has unveiled the new Street Fighter game in this year’s Evolution. This new SF game will be called Ultra Street Fighter IV and is planned for an early 2014 release on PC, X360 and PS3. Ultra Street Fighter IV will feature rebalanced gameplay, as well as new characters (Elena, Rolento, Poison and Hugo are the confirmed characters).
