In case you were unaware of, Bungie is using Umbra 3 for its unannounced project and other developers are taking full advantage of Umbra, including: 38 Studios, IO Interactive, Sony Online Entertainment, Tripwire, and Remedy Entertainment. Umbra Software released the first teaser trailer of their upcoming action, hack n slash RPG, Umbra. Although we don’t have a lot of information about it, the game’s official site states that the game uses Crytek’s CryEngine 3 and it definitely looks amazing. Most importantly though is that it retains that old-school atmosphere that all other hack n slash RPGs lack. According to the developers, this footage is from the prototype version of the game and they are currently looking for a producer or a publisher. Enjoy the trailer after the jump.
