3D artist ‘B.O.W. Qin‘ has been working on a recreation of Resident Evil’s Mansion Hall in Unreal Engine 4, and has released some screenshots from it. B.O.W. Qin did an amazing work as this recreation does look great. What’s also interesting here is that B.O.W. Qin aims to release a demo for this map so that everyone can explore the environment. We’ll be sure to share the map once it becomes available but until then, enjoy the following screenshots! Continue reading 3D artist recreates Resident Evil’s Mansion Hall in Unreal Engine 4

Here is what The Last Of Us could look like in Unreal Engine 4
3D environment artist, Kimmo Kaunela, has been working this past whole year on a project inspired by Naughty Dogs’ The Last Of Us. Kimmo has managed to create an amazing map, showcasing what The Last Of Us could look like in Unreal Engine 4. As always, do note that this is the creation of a single artist and not a whole studio. Enjoy the screenshots and kudos to our reader ‘Simon McInnes’ for bringing this to our attention! Continue reading Here is what The Last Of Us could look like in Unreal Engine 4
New update video for Dragonball Unreal shows new maps & characters
YouTube’s emudshit is currently working on a Dragonball game in Unreal Engine 4 and has released a new video update for it. In this video, emudshit showcases some new maps and characters, as well as a new flying system. We don’t know whether this project will ever see the light of day. Dragonball Unreal needs a lot of polish and we while this project falls into the ‘fair use’ category, there is really nothing stopping Bandai Namco from sending a C&D letter. Still, it’s really cool so be sure to watch the video ! Continue reading New update video for Dragonball Unreal shows new maps & characters
Here is the intro scene from the first Unreal game being recreated in Unreal Engine 4
Unreal was a really mind-blowing game – graphics and tech wise – when it was released back in 1998. And who can forget that mesmerising fly-by intro scene? Ah, the memories. But anyway, YouTube’s ‘Tomasz Szab?owski’ has recreated that scene in Unreal Engine 4. Tomasz has done an outstanding job, although I do have to note that I really miss the fog effects that are nowhere to be found in the UE4 recreation. Moreover, I feel that the moonlight is too strong. Nevertheless, it’s a pretty cool recreation so be sure to check it out (we’ve also included the original fly-by intro scene). The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess recreated in Unreal Engine 4
3D artist Steven Walther has recreated The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess in Unreal Engine 4. This project took Steven one month to complete, and the only assets that Steven did not create was the base Wolf Link model, the grass (which is from the Kite demo), and the castle. In addition, Steven used the NeoFur plugin for the fur of the wolf. It looks kind of cool, so be sure to check it out! These are some of the most photorealistic in-engine screenshots you’ve ever seen in Unreal Engine 4
3D artist ‘Eoin O’Broin’ has shared some spectacular screenshots from his incredible projects in Unreal Engine 4. Eoin O’Broin was trying to produce the best photorealistic environments in Unreal Engine 4, and from the looks of it he really pulled it off. Naturally, don’t expect this kind of image fidelity in your games (unless a developer decides to showcase what PC games can look like in 2016). Enjoy!
