NoconKid has been working on a freeware HD Shenmue project powered by Epic’s engine, though it remains a mystery whether this game will see the light of day after the launch of Shenmue 3’s Kickstarter. DONTNOD’s Remember Me is an overlooked game from the previous generation that did not attract the attention of gamers. As a result of that, Polycount’s member ‘shadacer‘ decided to recreate a scene from that game in Unreal Engine 4, showing what the game could look like in Epic’s new engine. MARZA ANIMATION PLANET has released a video, showing an incredible real-time tech demo for Unreal Engine 4. This tech demo’s environment is based on Epic’s open-world forest assets that were released a while back. MARZA ANIMATION PLANET has also introduced a highly detailed little dragon, so it will be interesting to see whether developers will be able to offer a Spyro-like game with this kind of visuals.
