Here Is Your First Look At Nvidia’s APEX Physics In Unreal Engine 4

YouTube’s member ‘seujose’ has posted some new videos, showing off some Nvidia APEX physics effects that have been implemented in Unreal Engine 4. Although we don’t know whether those APEX effects are GPU or CPU accelerated, we do know that this is the first WIP footage of Nvidia’s APEX effects in Unreal Engine 4. As suggested, this is still a WIP project so don’t expect to see polished physics effects. Still, it will give you an idea of what you can expect from them. Enjoy! New Tech Demo Of Unreal Engine 4 Running On FireFox Without Plugins

As we told you a while back, Epic Games is gearing up for this year’s GDC. It appears that the company has been working hard on making sure its next-gen engine is compatible with FireFox, and released today a new video that gives us a sneak peek of Unreal Engine 4 running in Firefox at near-native speeds. Game demos shown include: Epic’s Soul and Swing Ninja running on the Web without plugins. Epic will show more during GDC, so stay tuned for more! Unreal Engine 4 – Impressive Video Shows Off An Entire Honda Jet Rendered In Real-Time

Company 4T has released an amazing video, showing off a Honda Jet that was rendered in real-time by Unreal Engine 4. This tech demo showcases an amazing level of detail, really high-res textures, great reflections and refractions, as well as GI effects. What’s also impressive is that the entire scene is dynamic and dynamically lit. According to the company, each cabin light can be toggled and adjusted and anything that can move does (arm rests extend, knobs turn, tray tables extend and even the sink in the lavatory works). Make sure to watch the video at 1080p as it’s really, really impressive. Illusionstar Games Chooses CRYENGINE over Unreal Engine 4, Has Two Titles Under Development

IllusionStar Games has announced that after months of testing both Unreal Engine 4 and CRYENGINE, the later engine will be the official game engine for all its titles. The company did not reveal why it has chosen Crytek’s engine over Epic’s engine, however it did confirm that it is currently working on two unannounced titles.
