I’m pretty sure you all saw that coming. games.on.net revealed that Dead Space 3 PC will be a simple console port and nothing more. No DX11 support, no higher-resolution textures, no graphical enhancements, no specific PC tweaks or features. In fact, PC gamers should be thankful that this game will hit their platform as Visceral Games is obviously not focused on it. Ironically, the same thing can be said about High Moon Studios and its Transformers franchise, though Activision was smart enough and let another studio develop a wonderful PC port. Electronic Arts has released a new trailer for Dead Space 3, in which we get to see how did Isaac get caught in up in a battle with the Necromorph plague. In Dead Space 3, players can choose to team-up with a friend anytime in the game with the fully integrated drop-in/drop-out co-op feature, meaning that they’ll experience additional story details and gameplay mechanics. Visceral Studios and Electronic Arts have released the Gamescom 2012 trailer for Dead Space 3. In Dead Space 3, the fate of mankind rests in the hands of engineer Isaac Clarke and his new merciless co-op partner, John Carver. Five new Dead Space 3 screenshots have been unveiled today that showcase a new type of enemy – called Feeders – for Visceral Games third-person action game. As the planet lies in a state of starvation, the humans inhabiting the planet have taken to eating the Necromorph beings and in turn are transformed into Feeders. To be honest, these new screenshots look colorless and average at best. Add to it that the game won’t be focused on the horror elements and you got yourself a somehow generic third-person game. We bet that most of you were puzzled while watching the first gameplay footage of Dead Space 3. It didn’t look like the Dead Space you knew and loved, right? In fact, it looked more similar to Lost Planet than Dead Space and that’s a bad thing in our opinion.
