Watch_Dogs – PC Sales 10-12%, Next-Gen Version Sold 2X More Than Old-Gen Version

Ubisoft has released some new information about the sales of Watch_Dogs during its conference call. According to the French company, the PC version has managed to sell around 10-12% of the game’s total sales. In addition, the next-gen version (meaning the one for PS4, Xbox One and PC) has sold 2X more than the old-gen version (PS3 and X360). Watch_Dogs – Enhanced Reality Mod V3 Released, Comes With Five Different Presets

Guru3D’s member ‘Lunayah’ has released the final version of his graphical mod/tweak/tool for Watch_Dogs. This mod comes with five different presets, meaning that PC gamers can choose between: Warm, Cool, Subtle, E3 Original and Vivid atmospheres. Naturally, this isn’t yet a perfect mod, meaning that some may encounter visual or performance issues. From what we’ve seen this far, however, this mod is the one with the minimal performance hit (that also enhances visuals). Watch_Dogs – New Screenshots From “TheWorse Enhanced Reality” Mod Look Spectacular

Guru3D’s member ‘Lunayah’ has shared a new set of screenshots from the upcoming version of his mod that is based on TheWorse’s mod. According to Lunayah, the latest version of his mod will be coming on 3 versions with different colours (normal, subtle and vivid). Watch_Dogs: Kadzait24’s E3 Mod 5 Beta 0.3 Released – Adds Subsurface Scattering, Improves Explosions

There are currently two mods via which you can enhance Watch_Dogs’ visuals. One comes from Guru3D’s member TheWorse and the other one comes from another Guru3D member, Kadzait24. Kadzait24 was the first one that has managed to mod Ubisoft’s open world title and despite the harsh criticism he’s received, this modder is still trying to improve the game’s visuals. New Watch_Dogs Mod – Based On TheWorse 0.8 – Brings Dynamic Rendered Rain, Fixes & Denser Particles

The latest version of TheWorse’s mod for Watch_Dogs had major bugs that – unfortunately – were not resolved. PC gamers reported ‘weird’ trees issues and the wind did not affect Aiden’s jacket. Well, Guru3D member ‘Lunayah’ decided to step in, merge together a number of mods, and came up with the definitive – at least thus far – mod for Watch_Dogs. Ubisoft On Why There Are Hidden Options In Watch_Dogs

I seriously believe that Ubisoft should just stop defending its decision to downgrade the PC version of Watch_Dogs. Yes yes, the company has to do some PR damage control but statements like these do not improve the company’s image. Especially when modders have been able to reduce the stuttering issues that have plagued the PC version of Watch_Dogs; a side-effect that the development team was unable to fix and got worse after applying the official patch for a large number of PC gamers.
