And it’s gameover everyone. Chris Taylor has canceled the Kickstarter campaign of Wildman, only four days before its end. To be honest, this Kickstarter would not hit its $1.1 million goal as it has only raised $504K so far. According to the last update of Wildman, at this point, it makes sense for them to focus their attention on other ways to keep Gas Powered Games running. And since the Kickstarter has not met its goal, they felt that they should cancel it instead of witnessing its failure. Unfortunately, Gas Powered Games is unable to share any specifics in public about its current plans, though things are not looking good for them. For those interested in the new tech, Wildman will use deferred rendering and will look significantly better. Wildman features a fixed isometric/top-down camera like Diablo, or Dungeon Siege minus the ability to rotate the camera, and uses standard PC action-RPG controls. In addition, Wildman won’t use any kind of DRM and will support both Offline and Online modes. Enjoy! Continue reading Gas Powered Games’ Wildman Gets Its First Early Footage→
