Blizzard has announced that Rise of Azshara, the next major free content update for World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, is available for download. According to the team, this content update is packed with many new features, including the addition of Essences to the Heart of Azeroth system, two new zones to explore, Nazjatar and Mechagon, Heritage Armor for tauren and gnomes, new Benthic gear, a raid that takes players into the depths of Azshara’s Eternal Palace and much more. World of Warcraft Battle for Azeroth patch 8.1 will significantly improve CPU multi-thread under DX12
As we’ve reported back in, Blizzard has added DX12 support to World of Warcraft Battle for Azeroth via patch 8.0. However, it appears that the initial DX12 results were not that ideal as DX11 was still outperforming it.
