Bethesda has announced that that The Elder Scrolls Online will be automatically updated to The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, meaning that players will no longer be required to pay a monthly game subscription for extended play. Bethesda announced today that The Elder Scrolls Online is now available on the PC. In order to celebrate the launch of this new MMORPG, Bethesda has released a new cinematic trailer that can be viewed below. As the team noted, Molag Bal has claimed the Imperial City while the alliances, locked in a bitter conflict with one another, struggle to seize the Ruby Throne from the clutches of Oblivion. Earlier today, YouTube’s member ‘Scotty Mcbotley’ posted a video containing 10 minutes of gameplay footage from The Elder Scrolls Online. Bethesda was quick to react, however the video got leaked and is currently available in a lot of video sharing websites. As you may have guessed, this is footage from an early build, meaning that this does not represent the final product. And for the time being, we’ll give Zenimax Online the benefit of doubt. During Sony’s E3 conference, Bethesda revealed a new gameplay trailer for The Elder Scrolls Online. The Elder Scrolls Online promises to bring the award-winning Elder Scrolls experience online for the first time. Using ZeniMax Online’s Megaserver technology, players will join one connected world with a built in social network that lets them stay up-to-date with everything their friends are doing.
