Hayssam Keilany has released a couple of screenshots from his WIP version of iCEnhancer for Skyrim. As said, this is still a ‘Work In Progress’ project, meaning that the following ENBSeries settings are still not final. Keilany really needs to work hard though as we’ve seen some drooling ENBSeries mods for Skyrim. Not only that, but Boris (the creator of ENBSeries) has also been working on Bethesda’s RPG. In other news, GTA IV’s iCEnhancer 2.1P has not been released as of yet. Enjoy the screenshots and stay tuned for more! Continue reading New iCEnhancer Skyrim Screenshots Unveiled→
Modder ‘draco1122’ released an interesting mod for Bethesda’s RPG, Skyrim. This mod is compatible with Dawnguard and is essential for all those facing FPS issues and crashes due to their RAM getting maxed out. In other words, this mod should reduce if not stop all crashes and prevent slow down and lag from playing the game for long periods of time. Great news for Skyrim fans as Dawnguard’s achievements have been spotted on Skyrim’s Steam page. According to the detail section of Skyrim’s page, there are currently ten more Achievements, although they are currently unobtainable. Could this mean that Dawnguard is on its way to the PC version of Skyrim? Let’s not forget that Bethesda’s Pete Hines tweeted – a couple of days ago – that the company will unveil more details about the PC and PS3 versions of Dawnguard in the coming days. Reddit’s user ‘only_eats_plankton’ shared a gorgeous image, that immediately reminded us of Skyrim. To put it simply – this is how the next ‘The Elder Scrolls’ game should look like. Bethesda should use this image as a reference, and we are pretty sure that next-gen systems will be able to come close to it. The biggest obstacles developers might have with it is with the in-game TOD, the whole lighting system, the extended LOD and the shadowing system. Apart from these nitpicks though, we can’t see why next-generation systems could not provide a similar IQ. Of course, we are not speaking about identical or better visuals. After all, nothing can top real-life. But given the rumored specs of next-gen platforms, we believe that we might be playing the next Elder Scrolls game with visuals like that. Well… hopefully. Anyway, enjoy the image after the jump! Continue reading This is how the next-generation version of ‘The Elder Scrolls’ should look like→
Boris Vorontsov, creator of ENBSeries, has been working on a new effect for Skyrim called ‘Sky Lighting.’ Sky Lighting is basically a fake ambient occlusion effect that is introducied to Skyrim but according to the modder, the default Skyrim ambient colors are set wrong and look awful with this new effect “sky lighting” (fake ambient occlusion) of ENBSeries. That’s why Boris released a new mod for those using his ENBSeries mod of Skyrim – called Weather of ENBSeries – that can be downloaded from here. In addition, Boris released two screenshots to show off this new, graphical effect, that can be viewed below. Enjoy! Now that’s bloody amazing. Machinima has uploaded the following mind-blowing machinima video of Skyrim that is based on Zack Snyder’s movie, 300. King Leonidas and his brave 300 Spartans fight to the death to protect Greece from the Persian Empire and their leader, King Xerxes. The video has been created by YouTube’s member, Tyrannicon, so kudos to him. Enjoy everyone! Continue reading Zack Snyder’s and Frank Miller’s ‘300’ recreated in Skyrim→
Skyrim modder ‘Lunanella’ has released his personal ENBSeries mod. The Wilds ENB overhauls Skyrim’s visual and graphics with a reasonable performance loss (5-10 FPS); this is Lunanella’s take on as to how would he like Skyrim to look like. The modder has tried to merge both screenarchery and gameplay principles, simultaneously – making use of light SSAO and SSIL, SMAA, Depth of View, detailed shadows, enhanced lighting and overall graphical improvements to add more life to the game. After presenting you the Texture Pack Combiner, here is another must-have mod for Bethesda’s RPG, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The Skyrim Distance Overhaul (S.D.O.) adds thousands of polygon-reduced objects to the distant-LOD of Skyrim to improve LOD quality. The performance hit will be around 10%, more or less. Depending on settings and hardware though, everyone might have different results. Continue reading Skyrim Must-Have Mods – The Skyrim Distance Overhaul improves the game’s LOD quality→
