Now here is a nice surprise. Following the release of Dragonborn for the PC version of Skyrim, Bethesda has updated its official HD texture pack. As a result of that, PC gamers will be able to enjoy overhauled textures in all of their DLCs (Dragonborn, Dawnguard and Hearthfire). This is remarkably amazing as we know that a lot of PC gamers want to stick with the official HD pack instead of the custom packs that were created by the modding community of Skyrim. Now let’s be honest; one of the biggest issues of the Gamebryo engine is its distant blurry textures. You see, due to how this engine works, distant textures look blurry as hell. This was also one of our main issues with Oblivion, though modder QARL released – back then – an amazing texture pack for those distant textures.
