Gamespot has shared a video, showing 10 minutes of new gameplay footage from the E3 2019 demo of 3D Realms’ Quake Engine-powered game, WRATH: Aeon of Ruin. In case you weren’t aware of, WRATH: Aeon of Ruin is a first-person shooter that promises to embrace the timeless elements of classic titles such as DOOM, QUAKE, DUKE NUKEM 3D, BLOOD, UNREAL and HEXEN, and carry them into the 21st century.
Players will explore a vast world shrouded in darkness, passionately crafted by the hands of expert Quake scene necromancers, will have access to nine weapons and will traverse 3 hubs and 15 enormous, interconnected levels crawling with hordes of enemies, lore and ancient secrets.
The game is also built from the ground up to be easily moddable. Make your own levels, weapons and characters. From day one, the very tools used to create WRATH will be available for all.
WRATH: Aeon of Ruin will be released later this Summer (unless of course it gets delayed).
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
