CryZENx was one of the first modders that experimented with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in Unreal Engine. And, last week, CryZENx shared a new video, showing 10 minutes of brand new gameplay footage from their Zelda Ocarina Of Time Unreal Engine 4 Fan Remake.
This video showcases the Lon Lon Ranch from Ocarina of Time. Naturally, this fan remake also packs some gameplay mechanics. Players can explore the environments, interact with NPCs, use their sword to fight and ride horses. In short, this is a much more complex project than just an environment remake. Also, and contrary to the latest Unreal Engine 5 videos, this fan remake retains a somehow cartoony look.
There is currently no ETA on when this new version of Zelda Ocarina of Time in Unreal Engine 4 will release. CryZENx said that they will release the new version in the future though. Futhermore, CryZENx confirmed that they will move their project to Unreal Engine 5 in the future.
You can download the previous version of this fan remake from here. Here is also a lovely fan remake of Wind Waker in Unreal Engine. And lastly, you can find here and here two more realistic versions of Ocarina of Time in Unreal Engine 5.
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
