It appears that a new video hit the Internet earlier today, showcasing ten minutes of new leaked gameplay footage from Marvel’s Wolverine. This video shows Wolverine escaping the Weapon X Facility.
Now as with all the previous leaked videos for Marvel’s Wolverine, this latest one is full of placeholders. It’s also a bit rough and unpolished. And, since this is from an early alpha build, it does not represent the quality of the final game. Still, it may interest some of our Wolverine fans, which is why we’ve decided to share it with you.
In this video, Logan fights some enemies as he escapes the Weapon X Facility. My guess is that this will be a flashback scene in the game, in which players will discover how Wolverine was made. Or at least that’s what makes sense (story-wise).
Back in December 2023, a PC dev build for Marvel’s Wolverine got leaked online. That PC dev build allowed you to play a few gameplay scenarios. And yes, Insomniac has already a PC version of Marvel’s Wolverine.
Now as I’ve already said, you should not expect this game to hit the PC alongside its PS5 version. Instead, we’ll most likely get it one or two years after it comes out on Sony’s console. This is based on Sony’s current PC strategy. Things could change though.
Once the game releases on PS5, modders might figure out how to import its assets to the PC. After all, that’s what a skilled group of modders is already doing with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. So, it’ll be interesting to see what happens. Right now, the unofficial PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is in a pretty solid state. What’s ironic here is that the game is playable from start to finish. So, those who want to experience it may not have to wait for its official port (though they’ll have to resort to illegal means in order to get it).
Finally, I highly recommend watching this video while it’s still available. For all we know, Sony may take it down in a matter of hours. So, go ahead and take a look at it.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
